As the candidates begin to announce their candidacy and make it official by filing their paperwork, the Visalia Republican Women Federated are busy planning their highly anticipated Candidate’s Forum for Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:30 AM the Visalia Country Club.
The Candidate’s Forum will feature contested races applicable to the Visalia area such as the State Assembly 26th District candidates of incumbent Devin Mathis, and challengers Visalia Mayor Warren Gubler and Kern County Rancher Jack Lavers; the Tulare County District Attorney candidates of incumbent Tim Ward and challenger Matt Darby.
Questions for the candidates are currently being solicited from the community. Submit all questions for consideration to vice.president@visalia-rwf.org.
Reservations for the event are required and can be made online. The cost to attend the forum is $20 and includes lunch. You may also attend the forum for free if you choose not to have lunch; however, a reservation is still required for seating purposes.
