Our monthly meeting, in October, will feature a candidate's forum of our two Republican candidates running for Visalia City Council District 3 open seat. We will also have both sides of the local Visalia School bond on the ballot presented in a. forum type setting as well. We look forward to being educated on these candidates and bond proposals and hope to see you at the meeting.
We will be taking a monetary collection for the Central Valley Honor Flight Fund in appreciation for our speaker last month, Mr. Paul Loeffler. We had such great feedback from everyone about how much they enjoyed hearing about the Honor Flight. Some of our members are even considering being a chaperone! The next flight returns on Wednesday, October 3! Make plans with friends to welcome our veterans home, one more time!
