    Dear VRWF,

We are honored to recognize May 2, 2024 along with our county as the National Day of Prayer.  In 1952 a bill was initiated that declared that each year the president was to pick a day and declare it a day of prayer by individuals, groups, and churches to meditate and pray for our nation. In 1988, it was made public law that:

“The President shall set aside and proclaim the First Thursday in May in each year, as a National Day of Prayer, on which the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals."

If you would like more information about the National Day of Prayer, please follow the link: https://www.nationaldayofprayer.org/equipping/prayforamerica

This is a NO HOST breakfast. Brad Dacus, our January speaker, will be leading the prayer. We just hope you'll come and enjoy praying for our country and fellowshipping with one another at this very special breakfast.
